Privacy Policy

UK Markets Today (ukmarketstoday.co.uk) is a UK money information site. This policy explains, in plain English, what information we collect when you use the site, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep this policy short on purpose and we update it when anything changes.

What we collect and why

Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages readers use, roughly where in the world they are, and what device and browser they use. This data is aggregated and helps us decide what to write and fix. It does not tell us who you are.

Advertising. We show adverts through Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve and measure adverts, including personalised adverts for visitors who have consented to them. When you first visit from the UK or Europe you are shown a consent message, and you can change your choice there at any time. You can also manage ad personalisation in your Google account settings.

Push notifications. If you tap to subscribe to our browser notifications, that subscription is handled by OneSignal. Subscribing is always your choice, and you can unsubscribe at any time in your browser settings. We do not receive your name or email address from a push subscription.

Messages you send us. If you use the contact form, email us, or post a question in the Ask UKMT chat on our Dashboard page, we receive the details you type. Chat messages appear publicly on that page, as the page explains, so please do not post personal or financial details there. Contact form and email messages stay private and are used only to reply to you.

Email newsletter. Our email signup is provided by beehiiv on its own site. If you subscribe, beehiiv handles your email address under its own privacy policy, and every email includes an unsubscribe link.

Cookies

The site and the services above use cookies and similar storage for analytics, advertising, security and remembering simple preferences such as display choices. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though some features may not.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with anyone except the service providers named on this page, who process it to provide their service. We do not ask for bank details, passwords or account logins, and we will never email or message you asking for them.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to how it is used. To make a request, contact us using the details below and we will reply within one month.
